The St. Bart’s Food Bank (held on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Church Hall) is our most important community outreach and support. Started in 2010 to respond to the growing need in the community and to close an unfortunate gap in services to some of our most vulnerable neighbours, it receives ongoing and generous support from local businesses and residents.
For government stats and record-keeping purposes, we ask clients to show a BC health card for themselves and household members. Otherwise, there are NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
St. Bart’s receives no government funding and is entirely volunteer-run. It has become a conduit for the community’s generosity, channelling 100% of all donations back to those in need.
Donations of non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the Church office (659 North Road) Tuesday through Friday between 10a.m. and noon, or, at the Gibsons Chamber of Commerce in Sunnycrest Mall. Cash donations are also welcome! Please make cheques payable to St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church with “Food Bank” in the memo line, or click on the button on this page to pay by credit card or Paypal.
