Ministry is how we live and express our faith through our actions. The Encyclopedia of Christianity defines it as “carrying forth Christ’s mission in the world”, indicating that it is “conferred on each Christian in baptism.” While it incorporates certain rituals (the Eucharist, or Act of Communion, being one example) and traditions (Baptism, Marriage, Celebration of Life) the Ministry of a Church and its parish members can take many forms of service.
